Looking cute in a blue and white checkered sundress with a red and white striped button up cardigan and tan flip flops, America Ferrera was spotted hard at work on the set of her hit TV series Ugly Betty.

Ferrera has been a busy lady lately, as she recently took top honors at Sunday’s ALMA Awards, which recognize achievements by Hispanic artists.

It’s been one of the most surprising television hits this decade, and Ugly Betty’s third season looks to be the strongest one yet.  And America Ferrera was spotted on location in New York City yesterday with her nose to the grindstone, cranking out a few more hilarious scenes.

The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” cutie looked as awkward as ever, sporting a pink belted dress teamed with a pair of green and black striped stockings and black high heels.
